Instructions:

Row 1: Ch 20. 1 dc in 8th ch from hook; (ch 4, sk 3 ch, dc in next ch) 3 times more - 4 mesh holes made.

 Row 2: ch 5, turn. dc in first ch sp; (ch 4, dc in next ch sp) 3 times.

Rows 3-22 : Repeat row 2. At end of row 22, do NOT fasten off.

 Joining: lay scarf flat out. Give the scarf one half twist, and bring the ends together. Ch 3, sc in first mesh of first row (starting ch); ch 3, sc in next ch sp on last row. Ch 3, sc in 2nd mesh of first row; ch 3, sc in next ch sp on last row. Ch 3, sc in third mesh of first row; ch 3, sc in next ch sp on last row. Ch 3, sc in 4th (last) ch sp of first row. Fasten off.
