Ladder Boa
Materials:
P Hook
Bernat Boa - 1 Skein (Parrot Shown)
Instructions:
Row 1: Ch 7, hdc in the second ch from the hook, ch 1, sk 1 ch, hdc in next ch, ch 1, sk 1 ch, hdc in last chain. (3 hdc, 2 ch-1 sps)
Row 2: Ch 2, hdc in first hdc, (ch 1, hdc in next hdc) twice. (3 hdc, 2 ch-1 sps)
Continue Row 2 until you run out of yarn. Scarf should end up around 7 feet long (give or take).
The ladder pattern will look staggered because of the ch2 and hdc combined on one side of each row, alternatingly. This is okay - it's not very noticable with this kind of yarn, and I think it produces a nice effect even in yarns that make your stitches more visible.
